When I came back from spring, my eyesight dropped sharply to 0.1 … Recently, a large number of people were put into the hospital by it.

At present, many places have ushered in the most beautiful season, cherry blossoms, tulips and peach blossoms are in full bloom everywhere, and everyone can always take photos of flowers that surprise friends in every corner.

Although the flowers are beautiful, people with allergies are not happy this season.

Female white-collar workers’ eyesight dropped sharply to 0.1 when they came back from enjoying flowers.

Xiao Su, a 28-year-old white-collar worker from Hangzhou, took advantage of the fine weather a few days ago and went for an outing in Taiziwan with several friends early in the morning. Seeing the large-scale "Flower Sea", several girls took various photos and took a bunch of beautiful photos to the circle of friends. At noon, Xiao Su’s eyes began to blush and itch a little.

By three o’clock in the afternoon, Xiaosu’s eyes were swollen, and she kept shedding tears. She couldn’t open them at all, so she went to the doctor quickly. I heard that the girls had just come back from an outing. Dr. Wu Ruoxin, an ophthalmologist at Zhejiang Hospital, said, "This is a typical allergic conjunctivitis." She opened Xiao Su’s eyelids and saw that the conjunctiva was densely covered with follicles like goose egg paving stones.

I heard that my eyesight was only 0.1, and Xiao Su turned white with fear. Fortunately, the doctor told her that she is currently in an acute phase, and her vision will soon recover as long as she takes the medicine on time.

Wu Ruoxin said that from a clinical point of view, most patients with allergic conjunctivitis in spring are children and young people. In particular, some people with allergies are more likely to be recruited.

Allergic conjunctivitis is an allergic reaction of conjunctiva caused by allergens, which is a common disease in ophthalmology. In spring, allergic conjunctivitis is very seasonal, and it often occurs repeatedly in both eyes. It occurs when the spring is warm and the symptoms disappear when it is cold. The most common symptom is itchy eyes, and other symptoms include tears, photophobia and increased secretions, most of which are mucinous.

There are many allergens that cause the disease, such as pollen, dust, dust mites, animal hair and other substances.

Wu Ruoxin introduced that in general, allergic conjunctivitis in spring will not have any impact on vision, and most symptoms can be alleviated in the short term, but some serious ones may involve the cornea and lead to decreased vision.

"Peach Blossom" in No.3 Middle School in Three Years

It’s all about beauty

Tao Chengjun, director of dermatology department of Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, told the reporter that last week, she saw Sister Li in Hangzhou again, which was her third year to see pollen allergy. Ancient medical books in China called spring pollen allergy "peach blossom tinea", so he joked directly, "Why are you wearing peach blossoms again?"

Sister Li was embarrassed to hear that. Her face was red, swollen and itchy, and even her eyes were swollen. "Hey, it was all made last weekend."

Sister Li is 50 years old and has just retired. After retirement, she joined a middle-aged and old-aged photography club, and often took photos with her photographers, both as a photographer and as a model.

A few days ago, Hangzhou was sunny and full of spring, so Sister Li went to take photos with her sisters in Prince’s Bay. In the first two years, she has suffered from pollen allergy, so she has done a good job of protection before going out: masks, sunglasses and hats are all available, and sunscreen is also rubbed in advance.

However, when she arrived in Taiziwan and saw the cherry blossoms and tulips in full bloom, she was still a little itchy and ready to shoot a group of "blockbusters". Friends also kept "urging" her to pose for photos next to the flowers. Finally, she did not resist the temptation, took off her hat and mask and posed for more than half an hour. The sun was shining brightly that day, and the temperature was not low. After a while, her nose was slightly sweaty.

After returning home, she didn’t wash her face in time and went straight into the kitchen to prepare dinner. After dinner, she found that her face was red and itchy. Shit, I still haven’t escaped this year, and I’ve been tricked again.

Tao Chengjun said that Sister Li is a typical seasonal dermatitis caused by pollen. "When taking pictures, it is too close to pollen. After sweating, pollen is more likely to stick to the face. Coupled with the stimulation of ultraviolet rays, these allergic symptoms appear."

He prescribed some externally applied ointment and antiallergic drugs to the patient, and combined with cold spraying of traditional Chinese medicine, it is estimated that in a week or so, Sister Li’s red face will be relieved.

Experts remind: "For people with allergic constitution, try to stay away from allergens."

People with allergic constitution can prepare anti-allergic eye drops in advance to cope with the high incidence of allergic conjunctivitis in spring and autumn.
