According to media reports, on September 11th, the staff of the Marine Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade in Lufeng City, Guangdong Province told the reporter that if the situation is true, it is indeed a waste of water resources, and the law enforcement team who is in charge of the beach will be arranged to verify the situation on the spot. Shanwei Municipal Bureau of Religious Affairs introduced that Lufeng City had been followed up after the bureau discovered the incident.

After changing the customs this year, it was replaced by tap water. Because this is a way for local residents to pay homage to their ancestors, the government has not interfered too much, neither supporting nor opposing it.
