Mr. Qing said that his car was a Cadillac XT5 2020 modified model and was purchased in August 2020. There were two water leakage problems in the car in May and July this year. In May 2021, after a rainy day, Mr. Qing found rust spots under the passenger glove box and watermarks on the passenger side wall while using the car, so he went to the 4S shop to check. Mr. Qing said that the leakage was relatively small that time, and the floor of the car was not soaked. After the inspection of the 4S shop, it was the sunroof water outlet that leaked, and the drain pipe fell off, so it helped to restore it to its original position, and the problem was temporarily solved.

At the end of July 2021, after experiencing a typhoon and rainstorm, Mr. Qing found that the car was leaking again. This time, the water volume was relatively large, and the floor of the passenger car was already soaked. After inspection by the 4S shop, it was found that all the main and passenger seats and the rear seats were partially soaked, and the carpet in the rear was soaked, which was still the problem of the sunroof drain pipe. This time, the 4S shop was originally going to replace Mr. Qing with a new drain pipe, but the staff in the relevant store said, "It won’t work if you change it. The drain pipe has design defects, and it is best to lengthen it."

Therefore, this time, the 4S shop lengthened the drain pipe of the right A-pillar sunroof for Mr. Qing, and at the same time, disassembled and dried the carpet of the main and auxiliary seats.

Just when Mr. Qing entered the shop for maintenance, he also encountered two other car owners who were repairing in the 4S shop because of the same problem. In Mr. Qing’s Cadillac XT5 group, there are also car owners who recently issued a friendly reminder, "Check if your co-pilot has water ingress, check if the drain pipe of the sunroof is stuffed into the drain hole, and pry open the black board on the front window glass corner of the main and co-pilot, and you can see it.
