On November 14th, on the eve of the opening of the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, a team in front of Che Zhilian photographed the real car of the 2025 Kia EV5. It is reported that the 2025 KIA EV5 will be officially launched during this auto show. In addition to the regular version, the new car will also launch a GT-Line version with high positioning performance. Kia EV5 GT-Line will be equipped with front and rear dual motors, and its power performance will be greatly improved.
In terms of appearance, the ordinary version of the 2025 Kia EV5 and the GT-Line version are consistent in design level, and the KIA family-style design language of "Opposites United Unity of Opposites" continues. In the front part, the new car adopts angular C-shaped LED headlight group, and through the black decorative strip, it becomes a penetrating visual effect, which greatly enhances the sense of technology and design of the front face. In the lower part of the front face, the new car adopts a large trapezoidal air inlet and incorporates a silver plaque, further enriching the layering of the front face.
On the side of the car body, the overall outline of the new car is extremely angular, and a large number of straight and tough lines are used to outline the car body, which has a good sense of strength visually. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with a hidden door handle and a silver-black low-drag rim, which not only highlights the new energy attributes of the new car, but also further reduces the drag coefficient of the whole car. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4615/1875/1715mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2750mm.
In the rear part of the car, the rear taillights of the new car adopt the flat concept of penetrating modeling, and the details are decorated with the angular design, which is expected to have good recognition after lighting at night. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a roof spoiler and a silver trim panel, which greatly improves the sports properties of the whole car.
In terms of power, KIA EV5 GT-Line is equipped with front and rear dual motors. The maximum power of the front and rear motors is 160kW and 73kW respectively, the maximum torque is 310 Nm and 170 Nm respectively, and the comprehensive maximum power of the system is 233kW. The ordinary version of the vehicle adopts a single motor rear drive, with the maximum power of 160kW and the maximum torque of 310 Nm. The CLTC has a pure battery life of 530km and 720km.
