Abide by the laws and regulations on environmental protection, cultural relics protection and safe production in the shooting place, resolutely resist tax evasion, involvement in "pornography and gambling", bid up the film remuneration, ghostwriting by gunmen, malicious speculation, box office fraud, illegal reprinting and other illegal and immoral acts, and oppose showing off wealth and competing for luxury, forgetting profit and justice, and abandoning abnormal aesthetics.
Convention on professional ethics of film workers
(Revised at the Working Meeting of the Professional Ethics Construction Committee of the Film Industry in 2023)
This Convention is formulated in order to further strengthen the professional ethics construction of filmmakers and the construction of film industry ethics, vigorously carry forward the socialist core values, actively practice the core values of patriotism, serving the people, respecting morality and respecting art in the literary and art circles, strive to be a film worker with faith, affection and responsibility in the new era, jointly create a clean and upright film ecology, and contribute to building a socialist cultural power and realizing the Chinese nation’s great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.
First, adhere to patriotism for the people. Loyal to the motherland, loyal to the people, support the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s leadership and the Socialism with Chinese characteristics system, persist in serving the people and socialism, be mindful of "the country’s greatest", focus on the great cause of national rejuvenation, focus on realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, play a positive role in recording the changes of the times, showing social changes, and writing people’s feelings, and consciously undertake the mission of raising flags, gathering people’s hearts, educating new people, rejuvenating culture and displaying images, carry forward the main theme and spread positive energy. Members of all organizations of the China Film Association should widely publicize and promote the implementation of this Convention. Members of the China Film Association, members of special committees (members) and filmmakers should actively publicize and consciously abide by this Convention and accept the supervision of the people and all sectors of society.
